Has anyone tried this B&W film developer yet? I have just ordered some and I see that the times recommended differ from those given for Adox RO9 (formerly AGFA RODINAL).

I was under the impression when ordering, that the dilutions and times would be the same as Adox RO9, but clearly not from reading Tetenal's technical data sheet.
I am beginning to regret ordering it.

Keith, sometimes it is better the devil you know, I was tempted until I saw the price, and read the data sheet, the dilutions are the same, but I think it is a similer developer to RO9, but not quite the same, and though it will be good if Tetenal is anything to go by I have half a bottle of RO9 here so I will give it a pass, but I will interested to know how you get on with it

Ilford Delta... 40 minutes @1:50 !!!!!!!
Yet Rollei Retro 400 7 minutes at the same dilution?

That sounds like a printing error to me. I'd treat those times with caution! Having said that, stand development (I.e. no agitation) for 40 minutes at a higher dilution like 1:100 might work. Sadly films getting a bit too expensive to do wild experiments with these days :(

Thanks for the replies, I don't want to go through the rigmarole of testing this developer, so I will probably send it back and exchange it for either Adox RO9 or my usual dev.

I also wondered about the times stated in the PDF but on closer inspection there is a kind of ratio from 1:25 to 1:50 that seems to apply fairly consistently to all films.
For instance the difference between Kodak 3200 and Ilford 3200 is also fairly large and yet I would have thought that they have to be similar films.
So yes it is a little disconcerting to see these differences and it would make me nervous if I had bought the developer but on the other hand the rational me assumes that each film has been tested to the same contrast index and the PDF was then proof-read

First development of film Rollei Retro 400s with Paranol S following the instruction to Develop at 20C 7 mins 1+50 diluted with outcome underdevelopment as picture attached.
Who have an proper development structure to share would be very appreciated.
