I have this last week bought a Zeiss Super Ikonta from the auction site,
when received I checked it over and everything worked fine, its an old one circa 1938 and inside it was a bit rusty which was disappointing. But I took it along to Newton Ellis Liverpool for a check over and they told me of a product that transforms rusty metal to a hard finish. Hence the Omnicote name. I bought this a 250ml tub for 7.95 + 4.95 carr, from www.newventureproducts.co.uk its water based and it works. Sorry for the long winded text but thought the info may be of use to anyone who has the same problem with rust.

I know it well, I use it as a rust converter when restoring my classic car's, it is a very good product, one of the best rust converters around, I have also ust on rust on a Ikonta B that had some rust inside, worked a treat
