Just bought one of these, HERE (http://www.nauticalia.com/uk-info/jewellery_and_watches/more_watches/talking_watch/3460.html?cele=1). I got mine, which was on offer for £4.95, from the Canterbury branch of Nauticalia.

I find it a useful gadget to have in the darkroom for its talking countdown timer. I use this talking feature for the dip and dunk processing method I give to film (120 and 4x5) development for the 1st minute of development time when I'm in total darkness.

The feature is also useful when making time exposures. Better to listen to the time then take your eye off the subject while keep looking at the watch.

I wish someone like Richard of RH Designs would sell a talking stop clock for darkroom use.

Hi
I use an RH designs process master for all my film processing, it doesn't talk to me however the LED display is clearly visible and does not fog, it is programable for different processes, it also has a built in temperature
monitoring facility, mine is the older mark I version which I have been using for a few years, the latest mark II has a built in time/temperature compensating feature, an excellent product, here is a link:-http://www.rhdesigns.co.uk/darkroom/html/processmaster.html
