Special rates for oldies Settle Carlisle railway

Northern Rail- tel- 0845- 000125 offer really good prices day return on the Settle Carlisle line commencing 11/01/2010 and with so much snow staying on the hill in this area a trip should be quite something. Worth checking out, I am planning to travel next Wednesday conditions permitting albeit I might not take a camera as I don't want it to get in my way of just looking

I gave you oldies duff information. Northern Rail have suspended thier special deals on this line. However oldies can get a special deal between Newcastle-upon-Tyne and Carlisle. Sorry for the error

I saw the two guys today who gave me the original information and they did Leeds to Carlisle return on Tuesday. They said the oldies offer is still on and in fact continues until February 14th. So I might make it after all. They said that the Three Peaks area were absolutely spectacular under snow
