Hello All,
I want to introduce myself since I'm new to FADU. I'm Noel and my home is in Beaminster, Dorset, but I work in London mid-week teaching the Alexander Technique for improving posture and health.
My photography is rather restricted to weekends and holidays and I enjoy being out with my cameras just as much as my darkroom work. I'm lucky to have been able to convert an old boiler room in our home to darkroom use when we moved in last April so I manage to do a few hours each weekend, usually in the very early morning before 9.00am when my partner gets out of bed!
I specialise in two main themes of subjects since I recommenced photography 17 years ago after a few decades of inactivity. My main interests lie in photographing trees and trees in landscapes as I love the energy and special atmosphere they exude. Also I find ancient churches a wonderful calm environment full of history; a thousand miles away from the hustle and bustle of modern living; I photograph their quiet interiors.
I'm looking forward to viewing your work and sharing ideas with you.
Thank you.
Best wishes,
Noel
