Hi

I work at a University that teaches a 'contemporary photographic practice' degree and has a huge variety of books in the library, which I often browse. Some of the books leave me stone cold and I wonder how they could possibly have got published, but no doubt if I enrolled on the degree course all would become clear.

However, there are some great works there including the one that was a major factor in making me decide to concentrate on monochrome. It is..

Yes, that one is very good!
I have it, too, and two more books from him.

Other guys must also be mentioned: Kenna, Hoflehner, Barnbaum, to name just a few.

I don't have the book but looking at the cover on Amazon reminded me of this article by John Sexton (http://www.apogeephoto.com/mag1-6/mag2-5js.shtml) using the print of a corn lily on the cover to describe his printing method...
