I have been sorting through my film cupboard and came across a roll of agfa scala 200x pro. slide
I think a friend gave it to me ages ago he said something about being able to use it as negative film. right or wrong?:confused:

As far as I know it has to be processed as a reversal by the former agfa,I believe that Joes Basement in London processed it,but I don't think that firm exists any more,It was a nice film for what it was meant for,Richard

There are a few processing labs listed in this Google search.

I've never done it personally but it is possible;

Maybe someone here has experience of doing this otherwise you can read up on it;

Not helpful to your query but I've just been scanning some Agfa Dia-direct slide which was the predecessor of Scala. Wonderful film!

I have done this and got some very nice negatives. It was a while ago and a 'one off' so I do not have the details but I think I pretended it was FP4+ @ ISO 100 and used ID11.

I am not sure it would be worth doing as you would probably need to shoot a test roll!

Thank you all for your imput and the links I have been checking them out. I think I may use Rodinal to dev the film when I get round to using it. I may use it in another walk through project like I did with Lincoln (see posted pics)

I'm not going mad after all.:)
