From "The Print" by Ansel Adams. (page 191).
Ansco 120
Water (125*F, 52*C) 750 ml
Metol (Elon) 12.3 grams
Sodium Sulphite, anhydrous 36 grams
Sodium carbonate, anhydrous 30 grams
Potassium bromide 1.8 grams
Cold water to make 1 litre of stock-solution.
This is a very soft working developer using metol only, and it gives good print colour. In effect, it is quite similar to Kodak Selectol-Soft developer.
It is usually diluted 1+2 or more for use, with 1.5 to 3 minute developing times, although it it can be used at full-strength.
