May I just give mention of my second print recently accepted for the National Portrait Gallery's permanent collection.

Taken on an Ebony SLW810, 240mm Apo-Sironar S lens, HP5 and printed on Lodima silver chloride contact paper.

Many thanks guys, I'm very pleased with the image.

Never really thought of it as 'colonial' or kind of old days, but I like the analogy:)

I got the feeling she found it quite entertaining:)

I was delighted that the NPG recognised all the hard work she has done, not only as editor but as deputy editor since issue #1.

Thanks Steve, much appreciated.

It was a speculative submission via email. Liz knew nothing of it. It wasn't until they asked to see the original print that I thought I best check she was ok with it. If Liz had objected I would have had to withdraw my offer:o
