Posting pictures

I've read another thread that pictures can be posted in PDF ( this format has given me second thourghts about posting) but do you have to use this format can you not just post them in JEPEG, if so to what size.

I will say have not found a thread that lays out the hows, do's or don't. I'm not always the shapest tool in the box.

Having looked at some of the other albums maybe it just as well.

jpeg images are the norm around here although other formats are acceptable. The current file size limitation depends on where you post your images. The current (jpeg) file sizes are: -

In your personal albums the maximum size is 800x800 pixels or 100kB.

In the Gallery the maximum size is 1500x1500 pixels or 200kB.
