A project by photographer Richard Nicholson documenting the few remaining commercial darkrooms (http://www.richardnicholson.com/darkroom/) in London in 2008.

He notes that many have closed down since he photographed them (on large format colour film). A great collection of images, destined to become an important historical record no doubt.

I've seen this before. Interesting to see a very common theme of tidiness and uncluttered working spaces;)

That's what struck me about them, made me feel so much better about my own.:)

Inspired by this link, I thought it would be good to see the spaces we all work in. I'll shoot mine now. Can somebody tell us how we should post these images? Unless it's a rubbish idea...

It's not a rubbish idea at all, we shall set up a section in the Gallery area for you best shot.

:eek:Darkrooms closing? Oh, doom and gloom. Life as we know it is ceasing to exist. I'm wondering if it's worth even shopping for dinner. Could already be too late.
