After contributing to the thread about mounting board it got me thinking about print processing.
Now, over the years I have read much on this subject including the Ilford sequence and would be interested to see if we can agree (via committee) a "best practise approach".

I'll kick off for what it's worth

For Films

Patterson spiral, prescysol developer, alkaline fix and approx 6 changes of water allowing 30secs "diffusion" time before inverting 5-20 times.

For Paper

Nova 12X16 Quad - Developer, Indicator stop bath and two slots of fixing bath that I monitor with Tetenal fixer strips. When the first fixer bath gets to approx 1.5-2 g silver I discard this and replace with the second "slot full" and refill with fresh fixer (all Nova chemicals by the way).

For FB paper generally 1 minute in each fixer, brief wash in a tray and dunk in washaid for a few minutes, 10-20 minutes in Nova washer, selenium tone and further 30 minute wash.

Look forward to a definative approach!!!!!

Andrew
