View Full Version : 5x4 negative and transparency storage (Kenro)

I've been storing my film in Kenro ring binders; and for 5x4 I've been using their KNF09 translucent pages, most recently bought from Calumet.
Now I find that Kenro have discontinued that product (they still do the slide pages; but those allow the slides to slip around). Harpers of Woking had two packs left which they're selling me; and there are a few other dealers who may have small stocks.
Does anyone else here store 5x4 in ring binders rather than in hanging files? If so, can you recommend a system that is still available?

I did buy mine from http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/default.php?cat=1&type=1470&man=0&filterwords=&go=SEARCH&comp=
Have just had a look and it seems that the 4x5 pages have disappeared... bad news :(

I use Printfile, style 45-4B which I get from Silverprint and store them in these (http://www.arrowfile.co.uk/category.asp?cat_id=MODLVERS). I use the 3 draw units.

Try clearfile, available from Firstcall Photographic,

Trevor and Richard - Thank you both for those suggestions. Though Silverprint is iffy, I have a Firstcall account and there's also the European importer for Printfile, which seems to trade direct.
Paul - Thank you for checking as well.
I hope this thread may be of use beyond my own needs.

I notice from the Kenro site that they still do individual 4x5 neg sleeves by the thousand if thats any use.

Yes, I saw that too, Rob; but that would entail re-thinking the outer storage system altogether.

I too have been using kenro 4x5 sheets in kenro folders so I'm pretty disappointed about the supply drying up. I have quite a few to get through and at current 4x5 rate, they will last a long time. But the individual sleeves may be worth getting as backup just incase other sources dry up.

I just wanted to report that Harpers (Woking), mentioned in my first post to this thread, got the two Kenro packs to me by this morning's post. Another supplier I'd use again, without doubt.
