Love the sense of movement as the balustrade twists to the right, inviting us up. Perhaps tame the brightness a bit towards the top right corner? Even in the scan you can see a full range of tones are there in the print.

I like this image a lot – the only thing I would suggest is; tone down the left hand side in an arc from top right corner to bottom left corner. This should give more emphasis to the stairs. My eye kept wandering up to the left alcove, even when I turned the picture upside down or made a mirror image of it.

I like this image a lot and the various curves within it. The final tone adds warmth.

I agree with the comments the others have made, however I find tension in the picture that raises interest, this is created by the apparent junction on the landing. I cannot decide if there is the opportunity to turn left, or must I continue to the right up the stairs.

Even though you call it a snap I keep coming back to this image. I just like the simplicity of it.

Well spotted.

Lovely! The chocolatey tone is beautiful. I also rather like the brightness at the top. It seems to draw me up the stairs.

Thanks

I really like all your photographs.

You seem (IMO) to have a great eye for simple but elegant photos.

Keep posting your excellent work
