Andrew there is a lovely quality to your print. The composition is not forced but at the same time it carries the viewer through the whole photo. I have never used Stirling mg paper but it well suited to the subject matter.
As an Xpan user I have always thought that the 35 mm format was a bit of a gimmick, and the panorama format was what really excited me. But then I usually have a 35 mm SLR with me on most outings. You have however made good use of the smaller format.

Nice print
I have driven past the Aspens at Flagstaff many, many times and always thought of Ansel Adams - Aspens, New Mexico.
Never had to opportunity to stop and take photographs though.
Glad to see someone was sensible enough to make use of the photographic opportunity
