Stoo,
These are brilliant!!!
Some of us are struggling to take photos as good as this with 'proper' cameras. Just shows that the photographer is far more important than the equipment he/she uses.
Regards,
Paul

It is always pleasing to see a set of I/R landscape images of this quality; especially if they have been made with a camera that would not normally be considered to be the most ideal choice. But in doing so Stoo has come up with some superb compositions, showing a variety of printing interpretations, and has also tamed the usual fiery I/R effect that one associates with I/R work. The images have a dream-like quality that leaves me wondering if what I am looking at is in fact an I/R image. The combination of the 120 Holga and Efke Arura I/R film is just magical but it is also one that I’m sure would be very hard to master. I would not be brave enough to take a plastic bodied camera out loaded with I/R roll film into the landscape in the sunshine! But it just goes to show if you push the boundaries and occasionally try something different success can be yours.

I look forward to seeing the actual prints one day.

Neil.

I can only add my admiration to the above Stoo, this is really good work, I particularly like this picture and the waterfall one. An excellent set.
