The picture was taken on Ilford HP5 PLUS, in a 35mm Konica pop compact camera, which has a fixed lens and shutter, so is best suited to sunny days, which is was when I took the picture.

The film was developed in Ilford LC29 with the negative then printed on Ilford Art 300 with a grade 2 filter, even though my RH analyser suggested grade 1.5. The print was then processed in Ilford MG, then stop and fixer.

A quick wash and then into some wash-aid, but then being so busy of late, the print got a much extended wash of a few hours. Compared to a test print I did when I first purchased the paper, this one seems to have lost quite a bit of its ‘eggshell sheen’ surface and maybe a little of its dmax. Even so I still quite like the finished look of the print and having now read some
forums, Ilford recommend a MAXIMUM wash of 45 minutes.

The paper has a lovely warm tone to it, which doesn't show up on the scan. It has a watercolour paper type feel to it and may not suit all subjects. The one's that it does though, look lovely.

The print itself didn't require any dodging or burning in either despite being a tadge over exposed and over developed.
