I titled this print “Sunset” for some reason, perhaps because that’s when it was taken, maybe I should have titled it after its location which was Callanish on the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides.
Before I went there I had the impression that it is an isolated location, in fact it’s right on the edge of a village which limits the viewpoints that are devoid of man’s more modern clutter. Despite that I found it a special place, especially after the other tourists had departed and I had the place to myself for an hour in the late evening.

Good to see some more of your infared work - especially in 5x4. I like the tight composition with the two stones being used on the edges to hold your eye in. The lighting coming in over the stones from the top is excellent. An excellent infrared image that has been well controlled
