A simple subject yet made so effective in IR. I like this very much Chisel.

Thanks for the kind words. SFX produces a very nice effect - and is much easier to handle than Efke. I like it a lot. No more IR now until next Summer (fingers crossed!).

Nice one. This is much more "IR" than I had thought possible with SFX even with a R72 and would be strong enough for me
EI 6 doesn't sound like much but still makes a handheld shot possible at say f5.6 and about 1/25th. Do-able with a wide angle such as a 28mm.
In your experience is EI12 possible?

I don't think so Mike - I think if you went to 12 you'll get a printable image but you won't get as good an IR effect. BTW, when I print these I use split grade and usually it works out at a ratio of between 6:1 to 8:1 grade 5 to grade 00. On my enlarger I'm typically using 30-40 secs grade 5 and 4s on grade 00.
I develop in ID1+1 typically.
