here is a fine photo of this beautiful landscape, I like it very much. The format is good as well and I wondered what you cut out at either end. It's originally a 3:2 format so there must have been something you din't like right or left. I ask because myself mainly a 35mm shooter am often unhappy with the longish format and feel obliged to cut to get a 3:4 or a 4:5 or even 6:7 ( as with the Mamiya).
Thanks for showing us

Peter - Because of the location I was crouched between 2 bushes. I cropped out the RH one when framing but couldn't also crop out the LH one. I could not move further forward without getting wet! I decided to leave part of the bush as a stopper at the printing stage. It also saved having an empty top LH corner. I agree it is always difficult with 35 mm at a ratio of 3:2 to fit onto 8 x 10 without some cropping.

Mike - Thanks for the comment.

A good photographer just steps into the water for the right composition. Mind you with this kind of current you might have ended up in the Irish Sea and eventually Douglas IoM. Still its a scenic island once you had thawed out.

Time we had the range of smilies available to us in the comments section otherwise someone might think I am serious about the cheap trip to the IoM via the Afon Glaslyn.
