Guys, I'm sorry, i uploaded the wrong image to exhange 49 - anyway, that's corrected now. I couldn't see any other way than to delete the other image - Vincent I appreciate your comment on the image....

Looking at the print that I actually received from Fran, the on screen version is a little bit more contrasty, losing a little bit of detail in the highlights. It has also lost the lovely warm tone that the original has, having been printed on Fomabrom Variant 123. :-(
But that's the best thing about being the recipient of actual prints displayed in the galleries, one gets to see all the fine details and tones that are quite often lost when transferred. Another reason why film printing beats digital and on screen viewing! :-)
It's still a lovely picture in hand or on screen though Fran.

Thanks indeed Terry!
Its sometimes hard to get the scans looking correct - but I always find when I drop the size to make an 800px jpeg the end result is seldom close to the original. Anywa, I suppose it gives an approximation of the print.
