Brilliant. Rich in tone and texture, and so well seen. I love it when someone posts a photograph I know I would never have taken- this composition would have completely escaped me. There's a real tension in the tangle of trunks and branches. Great work.

Wow - thanks for the comment!! I wondered if I pumped the contrast a little too much as I wanted decent distinction between the tree trunks but maybe it works?

Well, I think it works . . . I suspect a soft, less contrasty print could become a 'wall of grey'. Thanks for posting this one!
