These 5 images are all test images after changing the light seals on my Canon AE-1 35mm.


These are some of the first images I've taken on film for many years and comments are appreciated on how to improve the images.


As this was a test film looking for light leakage all images were taken at a fixed speed 1/125sec and with auto aperture. Used AGFA APX 100

The image has come out well - good shadows and highlights. But I love the humour in that photo - Feed your weed and he'll lift a whole paving slab on his own!

It looks like relatively soft light but even so there would, I think, be more loss of detail under the slab if the metering had been in any way faulty.


Everything about this camera suggests that it is absolutely A1
