As usual, I printed this months entry early in the month then took right to the last minute to send it out... Where does time go?

Actually I do know, for I am printing more and more on FB of late and whilst they are flattening under some heavy books, I peek at them once in a while. Then, during a short period when I am satisfied with the print (to a degree), I send them out! Smile

This picture was taken quite recently at the gardening scheme I attend, for people with mental health issues (as I suffer from depression after an accident some years ago now) where I volunteer now, when able.

It was taken on a Holga camera, using the rectangular format of 120 Rollei ISO 400 film, which was then STAND developed in Rodinal for an hour, using about 6 ml of developer to 600 ml water (I think). This was the first time that I have used this technique, having read a lot about it and I was very surprised with the quality of the negs and the simplicity of the process. And yes, I will definitely be doing it again with future films!

I sent the recipient two slightly different versions, both printed on Ilford papers = Art 300 FB and MGIV Pearl paper RC. The one I have uploaded is the FB ART 300 paper version.

With the FB paper print, I cropped the picture (slightly) more and darkened the background (again slightly) more. The RC paper print, has (slightly) more background to it, with slightly more detail but with (slightly) less foreground.

I still like using RC papers = mostly Pearl and Lustre; the latter which I really like, but I am coming to like the feel and surface FB Matt and Art 300 more and more.
