I was at the Hamptome Cider making festival this month and the idea of a 21st century man of tin standing guard over a very 17th century house struck me as amusing,

I think this shot is a bit too contrasty Richard with detail lost in highlights and shadows. Perhaps on another day?

I would agree, but it is simply a bit of fun, included because I found the idea amusing, and I wasn't trying for a fine print, plus it snapped during the course of a very busy day as I was working both photographing the cider naking event over two days and as usual I got roped in to help with making the cider, so when I got to take the photo the light in the area was rubbish, very harsh, so please all don't take it to seriously,
Richard
