Bill I really like your photo and your control of of both the hi light and shadow areas. In regards to a comment made, I wonder if you would print it with a higher number filter to boost the contrast.

I too really like this one Bill and like Vincent, think it could do with a little bit more contrast = but saying that it's probably the scan and the print is much different.


And what is it about these derelict types of places that attracts us so? Smile

Thanks for your comments Vincent and Terry.


I think the scan is slightly flatter than the print but in future if I reprint I will try burning in the wall with a higher grade. If I used a high grade initially I lost some of the detail in the sunlit part of the image and some detail at the back.


Terry, when you are getting old and derelict like myself you have an apathy with these places I suppose!
