Print exchange round 66 entry....

This was taken near my home at what was a little weir on the River Liffey. I used a Chamonix 045n-2 with a 90mm schneider lens and FP4+ film devved in Rodinal 50:1. The original shot was a bit wider angle than this, but I chose to crop out some of the top of the image in particular (boring white sky).

Good scan, very close to the print (as much as a virtual pixel-thing can be). Excuse me for being lazy and pointing to my comment in the forum
http://www.film-and-darkroom-user.org.uk/forum/showpost.php?p=97415&postcount=34
and to summarize: lively in many ways, something to dive into (instead of jumping in your face - hopefully this expresses it properly). Thank you again Smile

Nice shot for movement Chisel. I think you are certainly right about the crop. The attention is definitely on the rocks and river. How long do you give the FP4+ in the 50:1 Rodinal?

I'm slosher tray developing, 4 or 6 negs at a time (2 different slosher trays). I make up the rodinal 50:1 at 23-24degC, pour it into the open tray. By the time I get the 6 negs into the slosher, the temp is 21-22 and down to 19-20 at the end of developing 15mins later. Agitation for a good 10sec every minute.
