I like this! I've never tried pinhole photography, but I keep meaning to. I like the way the water has smoothed out with the long exposure. The actual exposure seems to have been just right, which can't be too easy to achieve.

I've tried pinhole photography in the past, but never got anything as good as this, I like it a lot, well done

Thanks for the kind comments. This is the second pinhole lens I have made. The first was slightly too large. I have reduced the exposures down a lot from ilfords reciprocity recommendations but the negs are still too dark and lacking in contrast. This is mainly printed at grade 4.5.

Its a lovely image. I don't do enough pinholes, resolving to change that,thanks for the kick up the backside Steve.

Thanks Graeme.
Will start shooting more pinhole images now. The pinhole was made through a beer can, stuck to the front body cap of my mamiya 645, so its just another lens that doesn't take up much room in my bag. I am very pleased with the image quality, and the composition turned out very well (more luck than skill me thinks).

Nice to see something different in the Gallery Steve. The idea of the unpredictability is appealing and having to drink the beer first before you can make the lens adds more appeal!
