Love the out of focus background Alex.

So, how did you do it?

Thanks Martin. The lens was a 50mm on a 6x6 Bronica. Although it's a wide angle, it still exhibits quite narrow depth of field, especially at close range. If I recall correctly, the sculpture was bronze. It really seems to have absorbed most of the IR as it is almost completely black. The grass has obviously demonstrated the classic IR effect by turning almost white. Alex

The contrast between the sculpture and the background is superb - both the focus and the tones really make the object stand out. A very nice print Alex.

The tones are excellent Alex and I also love the d.o.f.

Nice tones, like the shallow DOF, and a interesting subject, lovely, well seen

Alex, you're great at these images with a dash of the geometrical, which gives me as a viewer a nudge to see them as semi-abstracts.

Thanks, Michael. I do like things to have a degree of order to them!
