Bit of luck we have the details from Alex or I would not have known where or how. Certainly has atmosphere of a cemetery and I like the tea toning!

The original print is excellent! It has a very old look, like an image from the 19th Century.

To me it looks like a very old photograph, maybe almost Victorian, very atmosphiric and as for toning in tea, I have tried it myself and used properly, as this has been, adds that certain something, Well done

Thanks all! The paper was MCC110 glossy, dektol 1:3. I think it was 5 tea bags in a "normal" sized teapot, cooled down to around room temperature. I found out that you must do one sheet at a time, you can't stack sheets or you'll get spotty staining. My hunch is that the prints should be very well washed as well. I think it was in the tea for about 5mins or so, but that was just done by eye. I think it suits this kind of photo, but is probably a bit of a one trick pony.

Back from holiday and some nice images from the print exchange again. This one is particularly lovely, dreamy and real at the same time. Nice to see how well toning with tea can be done. Frank
