This was taken recently on my 1954 Rolleiflex, a few days after a huge storm, I could nod believe just how calm everything was, not a breath of wind, this boat was left after all the others had been lifted for the winter,

Wonderful contrast of the calm sea and the big cloud. In between, the light horizon draws me into the picture. Very nicely done. Frank

I always thought your pictures were toned Richard but the original, which I have, is of a totally different tone and more natural. I assume your scanner is putting the slightly pink cast on your prints.

I often do tone my prints, but not these, and my scanner, a cheapo all in one, and windows fax and scan, is set for color as the last set I scanned were sepia toned, I should have set black and white, and by the time I realised my mistake the print was gone,

This is very nice, Richard. I like the detail in the clouds, and the calm water.

It comes across as quite and peaceful, the gentle ripples adding to it. Nicely done
