Nicely seen and composed Rob. Can’t beat a seaside place in winter!

God, that looks bleak! As Tony says, there is something particular to British sea-side towns in winter, hunkered down against the elements and looking battered. The two figures leaning into the wind just speak volumes about the kind of day it was.
HP5 looking good at ISO 800 I have to say.

It was bleak (although the sun did come out)! I really like HP5 at 800. The two figures were props I brought with me and were moaning about the cold! Youth of today - no appreciation of the importance of art! :D I had to bribe them with a trip to the Sea Life Centre!

I like the signs. They are well placed, and really make the image for me.

I agree with Alex, especially for the cold drinks. :-)

I like that Rob, it reminds me of my youth, I cycled from Chesterfield in Derbyshire to Hunstanton in the 1970s. I got there quite late and tried to have a sleep in one of the sheltered seats on the sea front. I woke up covered in cockroaches, I carried on towards Cromer and then decided to try and pitch my tent on the beach. A warden woke me up at about 6:00 am in the morning aggresively shouting at me"NO CAMPING IN THE DUNES". It wasn't really camping I was wrapped in a collapsed tent, covered in sand, more of an emergency bivouack. Never been back since, is there any good reason to go back? Your photograph depicts Hunstanton as bleak as I recall it many years ago.

I guess you're not after a job with the North Norfolk tourist board then! :D

Love this shot, one of my local seaside resorts. Needn't be winter though, could be a day in the summer as far as "Sunny Hunny" is concerned.

The seaside resorts are often like this in the Summer! Nice to see you are trying to introduce the Youth to a little culture Rob.

Sea side [ British] signage always has mysterious ambience to it in the winter.
Great stuff
