Remarkable. The movement of the tones, interrupted by the rain droplets, really suits the materials. For me the hard top edge is fine as it acts to set-up one's eye moving from top to bottom, just like the rain. Thanks for posting.

Very impressive. It really works with the cyanotypes blue tones.
I think that you are right about the smaller coating with the light blue merging with the white. Definitely worth a go.

The proofing sheet print without the border is quite abstract. The one here is more literal with the hard edges and dark border being evocative of a window pane. At least that is my reaction to the two. Nice either way.

I'm with Mark here: I like the way the border turns the image into a virtual pane of glass; using the medium of capture to effect the final image.

The absence of a border makes the image look almost three-dimensional, which I like.
