Wow, that looks very crisp here Alex. You seem to have managed a very high contrast scene remarkably well- maybe a wee smirr of rain actually helped scatter the light a bit?
28mm PC lens- there's an unusual bit of kit. Any movement applied on this one?
Well done getting out there with tripod in tow to get this shot.

There's something fatally attractive about wet cobblestones for photographers. And excellent detail in the shadows.

Thanks Colin and Martin. The dampness on the ground certainly helps create a more interesting scene. I can’t recall if there was any shift required here. I was intending to take pictures of the Cathedral itself, which was the reason behind that choice of lens. In the event, the Cathedral shots weren’t as interesting as I’d hoped. Alex

The thumbnail caught my eye and the full image didn’t disappoint. Nicely done Alex.

The original print looks even better. You can cut yourself on the sharpness! Excellent Alex.

I love this Alex, Evening shots are not easy to get right but you have done a very good job here, it makes me feel as if I am there

Thanks, Derek and Richard. It's getting into that time of year for night photography. I'm hoping to get out and about again soon.
Alex.
