Wow, that looks very crisp here Alex. You seem to have managed a very high contrast scene remarkably well- maybe a wee smirr of rain actually helped scatter the light a bit?
28mm PC lens- there's an unusual bit of kit. Any movement applied on this one?
Well done getting out there with tripod in tow to get this shot.

There's something fatally attractive about wet cobblestones for photographers. And excellent detail in the shadows.

Thanks Colin and Martin. The dampness on the ground certainly helps create a more interesting scene. I can’t recall if there was any shift required here. I was intending to take pictures of the Cathedral itself, which was the reason behind that choice of lens. In the event, the Cathedral shots weren’t as interesting as I’d hoped. Alex
