I was at a rather boring function at the town hall when I noticed the window and the interaction of people outside. Fortunately I had my Mamiya and a roll of HP5+ with me in case of a photographic emergency! I played around with several compositions with different areas in focus but liked this one best.

Like the shot framed by the window Rob. Exposed well for the window frame and the scene outside and I also like the idea of the frame in focus and the scene outside thrown out of focus. It seems to suit the weather!

Excellent idea, very well done. It tells a story rather everyone can make up his own. I also like the grain, which suits the idea.

The view makes me think of a Dickens novel and the (presumed) snow (although it might just be a bright pavement) somehow adds to it.

I like it how the world outside seems a bit distorted and dreamy. Also, the composition is great. =)
