I love the stump,Mike. I take it that it has been worn away by the tidal movement to show the rings at the bottom?

I should imagine the tide with the help of all those stones are responsible for wearing the post stump down. I think I need to dodge more in the printing to bring them out more even on the original print.

As the recipient of this print as usual the scan does not do it jusitice the contrast between the stone and the stump is lovely, and you can almost feel the roughness of the stump,again, thanks Mike
