The photo shows the port of the office, which maintains everything on the Rhine in Breisach. The old town of Breisach am Rhein is placed on an old volcanic hill, which is called Münsterberg. Münster is the name for a bigger church in this region. The Rhine is just a few steps back from my point of view. Frank

Thank you, Alex. Yes it is interesting and I got extremely lucky last year when moving to this region to strand up on the hill just 100m left of the church.

Frank, this is a lovely composition (I can't agree that it looks "sloping"). Oddly enough, the square thumbnail that you click on to get the full image looks like a very successful crop that you could also try.
