I like this print of yours a lot Alex. Smile

And for once, I think that the scan does the print justice, so I can only imagine that the print is even better!? There is tone right throughout the scene, apart from in the darkest shadows under the bridge, but I don't mind that at all.

I too like using IR film occasionally and the use of this coloured paper really works for this print. And as it happens, I think that I have a number of sheets of this paper still to be used. The papers colour definitely makes it only suitable for just the right print, and as said, your print suits it well.

Thank you, Terry and Richard. The sun was very strong on this day, which helps the IR effect. There was a man and his dog, just out of scene, making sausages on a tinfoil barbecue. I deliberately left them out!

Very strong, Alex, great. Reminds me also a bit of pictorialism.

Thanks, Frank. I’d been in Stirling many times, but had never noticed this bridge. Apparently, it has great historical significance. The castle, which is superb, is visible in the far distance on the left horizon. It’s well worth a visit if you’re ever in the area.

Very nice Alex. And if I remember correctly I've stayed in that castle many moons ago. It used to be the SYHA in Sterling.

I particularly like the way that the sky radiates out from behind the bridge; and also the darkness of the river, which is wonderful.
