Set in 1947, soon after the Occupation, when the Farmers were rich again after a very good Jersey Royal season, but still bathroom in the farmhouse, this is the tin bath waiting for the weekly bath night on the wall in the entrance hall to he house

I like the toning, Richard. It gives the image a certain brightness. The bath doesn’t look too comfy compared to the modern equivalent. No wonder it was restricted to once a week!

Ah the good ld days, as for the once a week, remember no hot running water,the water for the bath had to be heated over the cooking range, in the Kitchen, and the routine would have been Dad, Mum, Son and lastly the 2 daughters, same water, same bath, Glad I wasn't around then
