Thanks Martin. Your comments are much appreciated. I posted this print because it was from an Acros negative. There had been some discussion recently about the new version of this film. This is the original. It works very well for night scenes.

I guess that the Acros works well in such circumstances in general. But this is truly great again, because you master night shots so incredibly well.

Thanks Frank! The lighting was good on that evening. It brought out a lot of detail that may otherwise have been lost. This film, however, seems to have a nicer tonal range than some others. I still have some left which I think I will keep for night scenes.

Thanks Richard. This film seems to be very good for capturing a full range of tone and detail.

Very nice! Beautifully printed - I like the fact that the sky hasn't completely gone to black, whereas the shadow areas in the lower half of the print look very rich.

A great print, taken at just the right time I think.
Love it in b/w and can imagine how good it would also have looked in colour.

Thanks Michael and Terry. I might try some colour at this location in future. It’s a long time since I used colour film at night. It used to be an annual camera club outing to capture the Christmas lights on slide film.
