This picture is one from a small project I did about charity shops. The camera used was a plastic point and shoot unbranded one, with Rollei RPX 100 being used. I’m quite amazed with these type of cameras, as in general, the lenses perform quite well, with only slight softness at the edge of the picture if you look close enough. It’s a great little camera to take everywhere and is really simple to use, with only a shutter button to push and a viewfinder to give you an idea of the composition.
The film was stand developed in Rodinal, as this helps even out the exposures taken on this type of camera, with both under and overexposed negatives on one roll. The print is just about full frame, printed on the new Ilford MG V, pearl surface paper, at my general go to grade, of grade 3. It was processed in some teaspoon formula, home mixed D72 print developer in my Nova slot processor. |
