Printed from a negative taken from the files, which was taken in the early 1980’s, whilst on a college trip to the City of London.

The Lloyds building was not long open I believe and I’m not sure that the public are even allowed in it today.

Taken with my trusty but heavy Praktica MTL5B, and taken on Ilford FP4 and developed in Ilford Ilfosol.

Printed just about full frame, on the new Ilford MG V RC pearl paper, and developed in home mixed, teaspoon formula, D72.

That is a nice image,Terry. It has the look of a set for a sci-fi film.

I agree Alex, and a few other people who have seen it say similar. Smile

I have just tried again to find out further details about visiting the interior of the building and have found a few mentions that 'the building is visited by tourists', but can find no mention if that is just to see the exterior of it, or whether they can still go inside, as I did.

I also managed to find one colour picture of the interior of the building. When compared to mine, it appears that my picture is a central and horizontal slice of the following picture:

Proper view on a labyrinth where I could get lost. Some think of them as temples. ;-)
