This is the print I received from Alex, wonderful feel to this print, almost empty beach with a few kite surfers having fun in the windy conditions

The bits of foam are great, echoing the kites in, which you captured in a lovely dance. The sky is just marvellous, too. It is sort of a normal seaside image, but the ingredients randomly all over makes it very special.

Love the reflections of the sky and clouds in the wet sand.

Thank you, Richard, Martin and Frank. I found myself with a wide angle lens, and had to find some foreground interest. The foam seemed to be the best choice to avoid a big, empty expanse.
Alex.

Hi Alex-
Different kind of print from you this time.
The sky looks grainier than I'd have expected from a 200 speed film. Do you find that typical of Foma 200, or has the sky had a bit of burning in?
I love Fomapan 100, but always in 5x4, so no experience of Foma in smaller formats.

Hi Colin. The sky was burned in, but not that much. I over-developed the film by 50% which, no doubt, contributed to the grain. I had tried this approach on an earlier film, because the normal time gave fairly flat contrast. I hadn’t expected to be using it on this trip. It was really meant for City streets, but was the most convenient loaded camera.
