Another perspective for the local church called Münster in Breisach, like most bigger churches here in the region. Breisach is located half way between the Swiss Basle and the French Strasbourg. You can see the French Vosges in the background.

There is a lot to like in this Frank it reminded of the Thames but clearly on a different scale which you have shown. The way you have composed it not just works for the river but gives a glimpse of what is beyond the banks. Brings back memories of our cruise up the Rhine from Amsterdam to Bassle.

Thank you for your kind words. The photo is of course from last year's summer. Normally more than 300 boats visit Breisach per year. This year almost none. Let's hope for better times.

Your print portrays the scene around the river very well, Frank. I like all the detail. The trees have come out very well. I sometimes find, in black and white, that foliage in trees can lack detail, but you can see every leaf here. The church, only partly seen above the trees, is a nice balancing element to the boats in the foreground.
