This is one of a series I made one beautiful, ‘soft’ afternoon on the Isle of Arran in October. I was attracted to the light on the wet pebbles and just as I fired the shutter a big wave deposited the foam at the top of the image. I developed this in an ancient Forte Cold Tone developer I was given along with a load of old darkroom stuff. I only used it as an experiment as it was at least 20 years old. Remarkably it worked perfectly!

As the very happy recipient of this print the scan doesn't do it justice, but it is a very fine print of a nicely seen subject,
Richard

It looks an excellent print, full in tonality and rich in subject matter.
