This is from my very last film taken in 2020, on New years eve, and I was after a long linely beach, and this is what Jerseys beachs have been like for most of 2020, just one couple on one of Jersey's biggest and often busiest beaches summer and winter, This was taken on my Microcord

Hi Richard,
Wonderful contrast between the almost deserted land and the fully expressionist sky. I like the tone of the orint very much!

It suits the square format very well Richard. It's a format I like to use when I can.

Thanks Terry, I am fond of the square format, like to take out my 66 tlr's and folders at times, I tend to get a fit of wanting to take and print square, and on the last day of 2020 it just seemed right to take an English camera out, the micro is from our Glory years of Photography

Thsanks Ian that is what I thought when I took the shot, covid and 2020 in one print, This is one of our most popular beaches, and on a nic winters day ther is always plenty of people enjoying this beach, walking, talking, and until last year I have never seen it so empty,

Another great sky, Richard. Despite the circumstances, it’s good to be able to compose a picture without too many people getting in the way.

Yes, people can be a problem, but to have seen this beach with only these two people in actual fact was rathe sad, one of our most popular beaches, but last year very rarely anyone there
