I really like this. It's one of those images that has a story beyond the picture. Lovely range of tones and textures too.

I think this is a great composition, with just the essential elements included.

Thanks Alex this harbour is a place I often go, but coming round the corner and seeing these bought a smile to my face, so completely out of place

It might be me, but I feel the seats are made of wood and are in need of some TLC, just waiting to be brought back to life. If I'm right that is the coastal tourist industry in a nut shell. Needing TLC and waiting for life to happen

The seats and back were wood, frame metal, but remember that these had been outside, the seating for this cafe, Cafe de port, is all outside, since the end of jus=ne, and this was taken on 32st December, so anything wooden takes a beating on this site with wind, rain, sea, tis cafe closes end December, and everything is spruced up for next season, which starts again normally in March, and they are popen day and night, it is a Thai couple that run it, a case or Burgers and sarnies by day and an outside Thai Restaurant from 6 to 10 at night, The don't get to many tourists but cater for locals and the harbour people, Fisherman Ect, they work very hard,
