ps loaded upside down, sorry, but if you click to enlarge it, image will appear correct way up. If you reduce magnification to 80% the whole image will fit on the screen.

Nice concept of a frame in a frame!
Like you said, if you had captured the top arch in full it would have even made it a better image!
But I like it nonetheless, makes you want to peek around the corner!
