Of the two, I prefer this one Mike. Having the grain of the telegraph post running in the same direction as the long edge of the print suits it better. The landscape shape print feels like it has cut the grain off short. This image also has the 2 bars of diagonal shadow to add interest (balanced by the single corner-to-corner strand of ivy).
Overall it just feels like it has more going on than the other version.

Agree here, both very good, but the the shadows make the difference. This is terrific.

Beautiful! Great tonality in both tree and ivy.
This one works best for me as well, but they're both beautiful!

It is the shadow that draws me to this one giving it a bit more drama to the rich texture
