I like this very much, especially the colour of the paper, which really suites the image. I think I have some sheets of this paper in the darkroom, waiting to be used for the right picture.
Can I ask what camera you used, as I noticed some darkening / vignetting, especially along the top and the left hand side, and so wondering if this happened in the camera. You may of introduced it in the darkroom, but I think all sides would have benefited from it.
Great picture either way.

I realy like this one, it shows something that has almost gone from our world, which is such a shame, used to be shops like this every where once, now almost gone

Thank you Terry and Richard for your kind comments.
Terry please award yourself a gold star for observation! The vignetting along the top is very uniform (probably what drew your eye to it). Only when I lifted the film from the photoflo to hang it up I saw this weird masking effect. Then it dawned me...I had used a lens hood for a 150mm lens instead of 60mm (Hasselblad 501cm was the camera).
I added some more under the enlarger but failed to get it uniform on all edges.
I love this paper - as you say, for certain subjects it is just perfect. The print is toned in home-brew ferricyanide /thiocarbamide toner from the recipe in Tim Rudmans Toning book, p32 (Rayco formula).
Cheers,
Michael

This is a very nice image, Michael. The print must be very impressive. I like the creamy colour of the paper.

I can confirm that the real print is even better than the scan. I really like the vignetting and the choice of paper and toner suits this lovely, timeless image.
